It’s a perfect day for me and Gerard to drive to San Francisco for Gay Pride 2008 Celebration. I woke up at 4 AM in the morning to pick up Gerard and we drove straight up to San Francisco. It took us about 6.5 hours to get there. We had little lunch then wondering around the city before we check in the hotel.

We stay at The Hilton Financial District. Its a nice hotel, we were on the 20th floor room 08 which is 2008. How cool was that. I like this hotel a lot, the room is good size, great windows view and one think I like the most is extremely quiet. I did not have the AC on, the room somehow well circulated so its very comfortable, the bed is amazing. Its very nice and clean. This hotel is a bit far away from other tall building so I got a great view of the city, water and hillside.

The weather was around 65 degree, not sunny at all. I like it actually. I met up with my friends but it turn out one of my friend get mad at me over something stupid so I decided to depart the group since I don’t feel welcome so I hung out with Gerard the rest of the day in Castro area. We went to Midnight Sun for few drinks and watch music videos. They also play some skids of SNL and clips of classic films. I always like Midnight Sun, its one of the place that I always remember 1st time I come to San Francisco.

We head back to the hotel rest a bit before we head back to Castro for Pink Party but we end up slept all the way to 12:AM. I woke up and one of my friend call me to join him for coffee. I decided to get dress and head out to Castro. We met up and walk around, went into a small mexican restaurant to have late meal and have a nice chat. We walk around a bit then we split up. It was a very ending of my evening. I enjoy the city, shopping, great company and the weather.

I was reading an article on Yahoo said that people Hates iPhone, well that’s a bit misleading title. When i read the article, Its not about all people in general, Its about women with long nails. That right there is a problem by itself.

OK, its not about the iPhone cause the problem. I have and iPhone and I like it. I had few problem here and there but its a technical issues but the article that I read has nothing to do with iPhone. How can you possibly hate something that its not its fault.

I believe women should not have long nails like that at the 1st place. Its gross looking, its so out of style, its bad for their health (did you know that taping on long nails like that is bad for your heart) and people have long nail like that have tendency not be able to do a lot of thing. I am not quite sure what’s so great about it. All I can think 1 positive thing is they can use their nail to scoop food off their plate to eat with when they run out of stencils.

So iPhone was famous for touch sensitive and since they have long nail, they should not use any phone at all.

Well, the story started about 4 weeks ago. I went to LA with my friends to the Grove, we were waiting for the reservation so we decided to walk around. I went into Nordstroms to look around at the cosmetic counter, there’s a Sheseido lady approach me for some help, I told her that I just look around. I used their product and la mer as well so she told me that there’s a invite party at Nordstrom so if I want to be notify, I said sure so she ask me to fill out the customer form which most of the store do now day to have your information on file. I completed the form and she asked me to sign it. with my credit card information.

well, 2 weeks later I found out that my credit card has been charged for over 200 dollars on merchandise at Nordstrom. I could not figure out where this coming from. 3 days later I receive a phone call from Nordstrom at the Grove say that I have been charged for over 200 bucks with Sheseido products and I need to come and pick it up. I have no idea what it was so I told her to reverse the charge and refund the money back to the card. She refuse to do it and said ” Its already been charged on your account, I could just ship it to you for free", well after long conversation and it does not seem going anywhere so I said ” OK, just send it over".

1 week later I have not heard anything and nothing arrive to my house, I contacted the CC company to find out if the charge is still there. I called Nordstroms and no one answer and no one knows what’s going on, I decided to drive up to LA to find out what’s going on. Well, when I get there, NO BODY there at the Sheseido department. I ask another lady to find out where’s my stuff and finally she found it all the way in the back. The bag seem like its been hidden somewhere. I don’t know what’s going on but I took the bag home and deal with it later.

The next day I took it to Nordstrom at South Coast Store since I don’t feel like driving up to LA again. Its 30 bucks for gas. I returned the product and get my credit back. I went to customer service and called the dept manager to file a complaint but that does not do any good. He told me that its my fault that I signed the paper that mean I agreed for the charges on that paper.

EXCUSE ME, I think that’s an entrapment. This is NORDSTROM for god sake, Only crook outside would do this kind of business. I was furious of what he said. He offended for that woman everything I said so I decided to ask the customer service rep to give me head quarter information so I will talk to higher authority.

Let me tell you, they response your call but I found out that its better that just return the freaking stuff and get out of there and NEVER shop there again cause you never know what kind of thing they would do to your credit card.

I learned from this mistake, I would NEVER sign for anything fom now on, it does not matter if its was president of US, I don’t give a shit. I will tell them just to F off.

Let me give you a full introduction about myself. My name is Long Kim Nguyen, I was born in Vietnam and raised in US. When I become American Citizen in 2002, I changed my name to Ninon Nguyen.

Most of my close friends and relatives still calling me Long. I use the name Ninon for my formal business and mostly for documentation. Its very confusing but I start to use Ninon very often now day. All my new friends call me Ninon which its fun actually.

I am a mystery man. Who am I? Why I have 2 name? Hmmm, who care. Just call me whatever you feel like as long I response then it work.

Last week I was so sick, I never been so sick so quickly like this before. I start feeling little dizzy and the next day my throat flaming hurt like hell. I hardly can talk and barely can eat anything.

The sad thing is that I requested 2 days off so i can relax and enjoy quiet time and here I am getting sick so bad that literally my whole body shut down. My mom fed me with all the fat food I can get and I ate so much Pho within 1 week. I drank Perrier like no tomorrow, I got medication from my doctor and boy it does take a while to get back to normal stage. Thank you to Kaiser. They allow me to make same day appointment so I can get my medication immediately.

I miss hanging out to gay pride in Long Beach with my friends. I feel very happy when they called me and taking turn to wishing me to get better. I feel very lucky that I have my friends and my family that love me and care for me.
